Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Who We Are

YoungMinds Coding Academy(“YoungMinds”, “we”, “us”) provides coding and STEM education for children across Ireland. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at info@youngminds.ie.

2. What Information We Collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The subject of your enquiry
  • The content of your message

We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on this website. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Enquiries about a child’s participation should be submitted by a parent or guardian.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the programmes or partnership information you have requested. Our lawful basis for processing is your consent, given when you submit the contact form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

Our contact form is processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area; where it does, that transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We retain enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, after which it is deleted.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We share data only with our hosting provider (Netlify) as described above, or where we are required to do so by law.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@youngminds.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

7. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only essential cookies strictly necessary for the site to function may be set by our hosting provider.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
