What ages do you teach?+
We teach ages 5–18, with curriculum tracks pitched at each stage: from block-based coding for the youngest through to Python, AI and cybersecurity for senior cycle. Complete beginners and experienced coders are both catered for. We also run adult digital skills programmes through our council and community partnerships.
Do you offer school programmes?+
Yes! We partner with schools across Ireland to deliver coding and STEM education. We work on a flexible partnership basis and handle everything from equipment to lesson planning. Contact us to discuss how we can bring YoungMinds to your school.
Do you work with adults, or only young people?+
Both. Alongside our school and camp programmes, we deliver adult digital skills courses with county councils and community organisations: computer basics, Office, CV writing and job applications, often running alongside a children's programme in the next room.
What equipment do students need?+
Nothing: we bring it all. Every session arrives with a full class set of laptops, plus BBC Micro:bits, robotics kits, 8BitDo controllers and everything else the lesson needs. Your school just provides the room.
How are your mentors selected?+
All our mentors are Garda vetted, Children First trained, and fully trained in our methodology. They combine technical expertise with strong communication skills and a genuine love for teaching. We also carry public liability insurance for every session.
Do you run anything specifically for girls and women in STEM?+
Yes. Alongside our six curriculum tracks, we run dedicated coding and robotics workshops for girls in schools and for women and girls in the community centres we partner with, built around the same hands-on curriculum but with a confidence-first, judgement-free approach.
Do you support learners with learning differences?+
Absolutely. We have a dedicated programme for neurodiverse learners, including those with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Our approach uses small class sizes, clear step-by-step instructions, sensory-friendly environments, and strength-based teaching methods.

Pricing depends on the type of programme. For schools, we work on a flexible partnership basis: duration, group size and cost are all tailored to your timetable and budget. For holiday camps and council or community partnerships, fill out the contact form or email us directly for a customised quote.
